The Bacchus Marsh Music Ensemble (BMME)

The BMME is open to all members of the community and more advanced music students who play woodwind and brass instruments, strings, guitar, bass guitar, piano/keyboard and drums. The BMME performs regularly throughout the year at community events such as the Moorabool Shire Australia Day Ceremony, the Bacchus Marsh Strawberries & Cherries Weekend and Carols by Candlelight in addition to PAHQ's Mid-Year Festival and Annual Showcases. The BMME provides the live music annually for the Community Musical Theatre Production. Any musicians interested in joining the BMME are encouraged to contact the PAHQ office.

Choral Integrity
(Senior Vocal Ensemble)


The Choral Integrity Ensemble is open to all adults and older teens. Choral Integrity performs regularly throughout the year, including the Moorabool Shire Australia Day Ceremony, Relay for Life, the Mid-Year Festival, the Bacchus Marsh Strawberries & Cherries Weekend, Carols by Candlelight, the Annual Showcases and End-of-Year Instrumental Music Concerts.

JIVE
(Junior/Intermediate Vocal Ensemble)


Entry to JIVE is open to all young and enthusiatic singers looking for a fun way to improve their singing and ensemble skills. JIVE members recieve weekly singing and ensemble tution working on basic singing techniques such as tone, projection, tuning, balance and harmony. JIVE performs regularly throughout the year, including the Moorabool Shire Australia Day Ceremony, Relay for Life, the Mid-Year Festival, the Bacchus Marsh Strawberries & Cherries Weekend, Carols by Candlelight, the Annual Showcases and End-of-Year Instrumental Music Concerts.

Amplified
(Guitar Ensemble)


Amplified is open to guitarists of all ages and experience levels who wish to play as part of a group. Amplified perform an extremely varied selection of pieces covering every musical style there is. Amplified performs regularly throughout the year, including the Moorabool Shire Australia Day Ceremony, Relay for Life, the Mid-Year Festival, the Bacchus Marsh Strawberries & Cherries Weekend, Carols by Candlelight, the Annual Showcases and End-of-Year Instrumental Music Concerts.

IMPACT!
(Senior Drum/Percussion Ensemble)


If you like hitting stuff and have been learning the drums or any other musical instrument for a while, why not join IMPACT!? Utilising a range of percussion instruments, including the drumkit, african percussion and almost anything that can be hit, IMAPCT! is a percussion ensemble whose main focus is to experiment with various rhythms from all over the world. IMPACT! performs regularly throughout the year, including the Moorabool Shire Australia Day Ceremony, Relay for Life, the Mid-Year Festival, the Bacchus Marsh Strawberries & Cherries Weekend, Carols by Candlelight, the Annual Showcases and End-of-Year Instrumental Music Concerts.

Drumstix 
(Junior Drum Ensemble)


Drumstix is the perfect ensemble for young drummers or any child who would like to get in and have a go! Focussing on simple rhythms, playing as an ensemble and with confidence, Drumstix is a fun introduction to playing in a group. Drumstix perform at the Mid-Year Festival, the End-of-Year Music Concerts and selected community events.

Tangled Strings 
(String Ensemble)


String players of all ages and experience are welcome to join Tangled Strings. Whether you can only play a few notes or are an experienced musician, this ensemble caters for everyone with parts arranged for all members specifically. Tangled Strings perform at the Mid-Year Festival, the End-of-Year Music Concerts and selected community events.

Gale Force Winds 
(Wind Ensemble)


If you play an instrument that you blow, Gale Force Winds is for you! Students who play flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, recorder, trumpet, trombone, french horn or tuba who would like to further develop their playing in a fun and supportive environment should join Gale Force Winds. Gale Force Winds perform at the Mid-Year Festival, the End-of-Year Music Concerts and selected community events.
